Meet Dr. Leah Sebastian
Dr. Leah Sebastian was raised in Jackson, a small town in Eastern Kentucky. As a native Kentuckian, Dr. Sebastian is grateful to live in the heart of the Bluegrass and feels fortunate to serve the community through her work creating confident smiles.
Why Orthodontics?
Dr. Sebastian’s favorite part about being an orthodontist is the opportunity to really get to know her patients and their families.
She believes that forming a partnership with each individual patient not only helps ensure that orthodontic goals are achieved but also makes their treatment journey a positive, uplifting experience.
Education & Experience
Dr. Sebastian received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in 2010, with a major in Biotechnology.
After spending a year in Ann Arbor, Michigan, working for the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research, she returned to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry to continue her education.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2015, and then she completed three years of specialty training in the Department of Orthodontics.
Memberships & Affiliations
Dr. Sebastian is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists.
Outside of the Office
Dr. Sebastian and her husband, Jordan, reside in Shelbyville with their daughter, Lennon and son, Levi. She enjoys traveling across the globe, cooking and trying new foods, attending college sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
